Of course it's great to knock out 2000 words in one day, but then if you don't write anything again for another week, it's really, really hard to get into it again. Thanks for leaving a comment, and good luck with your book!Susan Elliot Wrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07330077083045451606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5196270920705499712.post-78247276797027272082014-07-04T16:52:09.196+01:002014-07-04T16:52:09.196+01:00Interesting to read how you go about motivating yo...Interesting to read how you go about motivating yourself to get the word count and content. Pleased to see the 500 words bit works as that probably sums me up with my odd bits of writing to date.
Am looking to start writing a (semi academic) book with a colleague shortly and your week`s account of progress fills me with confidence, that so long as its little but often, you can get the results!
Appreciate that!! Not that I don't love him to bits but playing footie in the park, even in this sunshine, isn't anywhere near as high up my agenda as getting on with my book. Ah well... Enjoying the blog - I'm fascinated by other writers' routines too. I've heard a few stories of Kindle versions containing lots of errors, though I don't know how this could be. Anyway, thanks again for your comments and I hope book 3 doesn't disappoint!Susan Elliot Wrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07330077083045451606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5196270920705499712.post-25640278416192518272014-07-01T14:14:22.191+01:002014-07-01T14:14:22.191+01:00Hi Sue,

Get a life is what I would be telling that person.

Keep up the good work, having read both your novels and thoroughly enjoyed them can't wait to see what number 3 has in store.

MitziLazy Days & Sundayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00981937294479619947noreply@blogger.com
